  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 large Philippine mangoes (slightly yellow and firm)
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 2 to 3 cups ice
  1. In a sauce pot over medium heat, combine water and sugar and bring to a boil. Lower heat to low and continue to cook, stirring constantly, for about 3 to 5 minutes or until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  2. Peel mangoes and slice edible flesh from pit. Cut flesh into chunks.
  3. In a blender. combine simple syrup, mangoes, milk and ice. Process until smooth.
